Your Involvement

Work With Us

“Giving Today to Enable Tomorrow”.  Whether directly, or indirectly, mental illness can affect every member of the community. But, you can make a difference by joining us in our mission & make a donation to Reawakening Wellness and help change lives.

How can you get involved with us?

At Reawakening Wellness, we appreciate any kind of contributions or help which might facilitate us in improving or expanding our programmes. The ways you can get involved are as follows:

Supported Employment:

You can provide employment opportunities to individuals who are ready to move out of the community after treatment.

Volunteer:

You can spend time at RWF by conducting workshops/activities to engage with residents and undertake fundraising events for RWF.

Financial Donations:

Our main source of income is from fees, which covers only 60% of our cost.  Over the years our annual increase in fees has not been according to the rate of inflation. We also provide free treatment for deserving residents from lower economic background.  This has resulted in a gradual financial shortfall of almost 40% per month, for which we rely on contributions. Your contributions will directly go towards meeting fees of those residents who cannot afford treatment expenses, staff development programmes, infrastructure maintenance and operation costs.

Donations in Kind:

You can donate items such as books, stationary, linen, computers/Laptops, furniture, electronic appliance (refrigerators, UPS, washing machines, geysers) etc

YASHITA KHERA
COUNSELING PSYCHOLOGIST

As a psychologist, I believe drug addiction rehabs play a crucial role in helping individuals overcome their substance abuse challenges.

These facilities provide a structured and supportive environment where people can receive specialized treatment and therapy to address the underlying causes of their addiction.

Rehabilitation centers typically offer a combination of individual counseling, group therapy, and support from trained professionals, which can be highly effective in promoting recovery and relapse prevention. Additionally, these facilities often educate individuals on coping strategies, life skills, and healthier ways to manage stress, helping them reintegrate into society and lead fulfilling lives after treatment.

However, it's essential to acknowledge that addiction is a complex issue with various underlying factors, such as mental health disorders and past traumas. Therefore, a holistic approach that addresses both the physical and psychological aspects of addiction is crucial for successful outcomes.

As a psychologist, it's essential to work collaboratively with rehabilitation centers and other professionals to ensure the best possible care for individuals struggling with drug addiction. Empathy, understanding, and nonjudgmental support are vital in helping clients on their journey to recovery and healing.
